Summer Solstice 2021
Friday, June 18 - Monday, June 21
Sunday, June 20th is the Summer Solstice and while the sun will briefly “go down”, don’t count on it getting very dark. The longest day of the year at 60o N is something to behold with nearly 19 hours of daylight and over 22 hours of ‘sky illumination’.
So why not use all that daylight for extra fishing?
The Ena Lake Lodge 2021 Summer Solstice brings the longest fishing day of the year and we plan to take full advantage of it.
Late Night Solstice Fishing
The sun won’t set until 10:40PM, but Civil Twilight lasts until 12:26AM, so if you want, you can stay fishing until nearly midnight!
You’ll need some great meals to fuel all that extra fishing, so Chef Tyler will have you covered with a special Solstice shore lunch – a quintessential Northern Canadian experience. An afternoon nap may be in order, but another amazing Solstice dinner will get you ready for an exciting evening of late-night fishing.
