Like Vandyck, we have not yet made it to Hill Island Lake yet. However this is one of the largest lakes in this part of the Canadian Shield…and it is ours to explore along with a few local residents that spend their summers on this beautiful lake. The sheer size of this lake makes it fascinating, let alone the major river system that runs right through the lake.
